CLT in the Ottawa country-side.
The exterior of the home is manufactured  in Quebec and delivered and assembled in three days. It then will take a couple of  weeks for it to be put together and be weather and air tight.

The owner will monitor the energy efficiency over the next year. She has an informative website with progress and explanations. giiwe.wordpress.com

The inside of the exterior walls are ready to go and are wood that can be stained, painted, or left natural, as you can see in the photo of Michele sorting her tomato crop after her first harvest season.

I am happy that so many of my clients not only build sustainably, but live sustainably. Michele has a wonderful garden and her energy consumption in the house is far less than the little that was predicted.
